One of the most attractive features of renting this Tuscan house instead of an entire country villa is its location within the town's fortifications. Its elevated position behind thick medieval walls afford guests privacy and tranquility in the middle of town. The area's position at a gentle altitude of 540 meters above sea level is also suitable for those who suffer from allergies, heart disease or respiratory problems.
In winter a crackling fireplace creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, while during our balmy summers guests are within walking distance of all of the festivities, concerts and events at the center of town.
Casa Morena is also near Quercia al Pino with its large commercial center, cafes and restaurants, and a multiplex cinema complex. It is ideal for those who want to combine relaxing with sightseeing. The neighboring city of Umbria provides another wonderful destination for touring.

Outdoor Space
Because the house is in the town center, its convenient location (just in front of the Fanelli Castle of Sarteano) offers easy access on foot to all of the local attractions: a thermal swimming pool complex, music festivals, an outdoor antique market and many shops that offer typical Tuscan wares including handmade jewelry, pottery and linens. Of course, there are also restaurants and food emporiums where one can purchase local foodstuffs and wines.
Interiors
The house is on one level. Should you decide to prepare meals and eat-in, the kitchen is quite well equipped. The main living area also features an entire corner devoted to a fireplace. Sleeping areas include a separate bedroom as well as a sofa-bed in the main room. The house can accommodate a maximum of four discriminating guests who are sure to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Tuscan rooftops.
